Kastamonulular Platformu

The Kastamonu Platform held its management meeting at the Polat Bosphorus Hotel in Istanbul, with significant participation from business, political, and civil society representatives. At the meeting, Platform President Haydar Çolakoğlu shared the key theme shaping Kastamonu's future with the public: "Increasing regional representation by considering the Western Black Sea region as a whole."

The Kastamonu Platform, leveraging the strength of the Kastamonu population living in Istanbul – the second largest group of Kastamonu residents – strengthened the spirit of unity, togetherness, and solidarity among the Western Black Sea region and served as the venue for important consultations outlining a roadmap for the future, involving all stakeholders. Numerous prominent figures from the business, political, civil society, and art worlds attended the meeting.

Dilovası Amateur Sports Clubs

The Dilovası Amateur Sports Clubs Equipment Support Distribution Ceremony, organized by Çolakoğlu Metallurgy to support all sports clubs operating in Dilovası, took place with wide participation.

The ceremony was attended by Haydar Çolakoğlu, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çolakoğlu Metallurgy; İlhami Aktaş, Governor of Kocaeli; Metin Kubilay, District Governor of Dilovası; Ramazan Ömeroğlu, Mayor of Dilovası; Gökhan Yavaşer, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports; as well as senior executives from Çolakoğlu Metallurgy, representatives of amateur sports clubs in the region, and numerous guests.

Haydar Çolakoğlu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çolakoğlu Metallurgy, stated in his opening speech at the ceremony: “By contributing to all amateur sports clubs operating in Dilovası, we have provided 1,808 pieces of sports equipment to 450 athletes. Sports are a tool that significantly contributes to the physical, social, and cultural development of our youth. This meaningful project, which we are implementing today, is a step taken to support not only the successful individuals of today but also of the future, through the unifying and inclusive power of sports. Our Çolakoğlu Metallurgy Sports Club, which we established last year, continues its work tirelessly to ensure that young people living in Kocaeli, especially in the Dilovası district, grow up as confident, highly motivated, and exemplary individuals for society.”

Çolakoğlu Metallurgy Sports Club

The Çolakoğlu Metallurgy Sports Club was established in 2023 with the aim of guiding young people in Dilovası towards sports and raising healthy and conscious generations through the unifying power of sports. Our club operates not only with a focus on sporting success, but also with a strong sense of social responsibility that places community benefit at its core.

 

Our club, which has adopted the principle of contributing to the physical, mental, and social development of young people, continues its activities in swimming, athletics, football, and fencing. Our 120 licensed athletes are being raised as strong individuals both in sports and in life through disciplined training programs and our values-oriented approach.

Haydar Çolakoğlu Receives Service Medal from the Turkish Red Crescent

Many successful individuals from various sectors who support the Turkish Red Crescent's operations with their donations came together at the "Big Hearts Meet" event. At the ceremony, which brought together businessmen, artists, civil society organizations, journalists, and citizens, including Haydar Çolakoğlu, a total of 126 donors received their gold medals from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and ministers.

Contribution to Education

Çolakoğlu Metallurgy Inc., where Haydar Çolakoğlu serves as Vice Chairman of the Board, supports its belief in skilled human resources with philanthropic investments in education. With the aim of adding value to our country, it has undertaken numerous educational projects such as the Çolakoğlu Anatolian Girls' Vocational School and Girls' Vocational High School (Gebze), Çolakoğlu Primary School (Dilovası), Istanbul Technical University Mehmet Rüştü Çolakoğlu Boys' Dormitory, Middle East Technical University Faculty of Architecture Research Design Planning and Application Center (Ankara), etc.
