United States President Donald J. Trump received Haydar Çolakoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çolakoğlu Holding, in Washington D.C.

During the meeting, a general assessment of economic and trade relations between Türkiye and the United States was made.

During the meeting, Haydar Çolakoğlu expressed his special thanks to President Donald J. Trump for being the US President who has contributed the most to establishing peace in the Middle East to date, having ended eight wars in the last ten months on a global scale.

Çolakoğlu, who is a member of the Advisory Board of the Turkish American Steering Committee (TASC), stated that President Trump is the US president who has contributed the most to US-Türkiye relations. Çolakoğlu shared his personal assessment that the steps taken towards Turkish-American relations during President Trump's term have significantly contributed to the development of dialogue and mutual understanding between the two countries.

Haydar Çolakoğlu emphasized that the recently strengthened positive atmosphere between the two allied countries, within the framework of the spirit of strategic partnership, has created significant opportunities in terms of economic and trade relations. He also conveyed the institutional and individual efforts undertaken from a private sector perspective towards achieving the goal of increasing Türkiye-US trade volume to 100 billion US dollars, in line with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's "Türkiye Century" vision.

US President Donald J. Trump expressed his satisfaction with the visit and conveyed his greetings to Türkiye. President Trump stressed the importance of continuing contacts and dialogues aimed at further strengthening Turkish-American relations and stated that he would be pleased to welcome Haydar Çolakoğlu again in Washington D.C.

Haydar Çolakoğlu participated in events held in the US as part of the UN Summit, with the attendance of President Erdoğan.

Haydar Çolakoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Çolakoğlu Holding and Member of the Board of Directors of TEB Holding, attended a dinner organized by the Turkish-American National Steering Committee, where he met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Ministers of the Republic of Türkiye, and prominent business people.

At the meeting, President Erdoğan expressed his commitment to continuing support for the Turkish-American community in all areas and presented plaques of appreciation to the business people who contributed to the gathering.

The meeting, which comprehensively addressed common goals, investment opportunities, and obstacles to trade that will contribute to the development of economic relations between Türkiye and the USA, also provided information about Türkiye investment opportunities, production capacity, and regional strategic role. It was stated that this meeting, in which Haydar Çolakoğlu also participated, was considered extremely valuable in terms of further strengthening the bridges between the business communities of the two countries and increasing opportunities for mutual cooperation.

Kocaeli Governor İlhami Aktaş visited the Çolakoğlu Metallurgy Factory and received information from officials regarding its operations.

Governor Aktaş was accompanied by Haydar Çolakoğlu, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çolakoğlu Metallurgy, during his visit. Governor Aktaş, accompanied by Haydar Çolakoğlu and the senior management of Çolakoğlu Metallurgy, visited the Çolakoğlu Metallurgy Factory located in Dilovası. During his inspection of various sections of the factory, Governor Aktaş was briefed on Çolakoğlu Metallurgy's wide product range, extending from low-carbon steels to high-strength low-alloy steels. Details were also provided regarding the artificial intelligence-supported process development and advanced data analytics methods actively used in Çolakoğlu Metallurgy's production processes. Governor Aktaş had lunch with the employees during his visit before leaving the factory.
