Kosovo-based TEB ShA wins “Bank of the Year” award

The Banker, an internationally prestigious banking and finance magazine, has designated Kosovo-based TEB ShA “Bank of the Year”. TEB ShA is owned by Türk Ekonomi Bankası, of whose board of directors Haydar Çolakoğlu is a member.

According to a TEB-released statement, leading financial market journal The Banker presented its “Bank of the Year” award to Kosovo-based TEB ShA. The awards were handed out by magazine officials during a ceremony held in London.

Concerning the award, TEB ShA managing director Ayhan Albeyoglu said he was tremendously pleased to be so honored by the international banking industry and that his bank put great store in the award.

Ever since its establishment in Kosovo nine years ago, TEB ShA has benefitted from the support of Haydar Çolakoğlu and other members of the TEB board in the deployment of its banking industry experience and innovative approaches. The Banker magazine’s award is seen as evidence that TEB ShA’s strong financial performance is internationally admired and that the bank is representing its parent company’s home country in the international arena in the best way possible.

Repeating its award success in 2016, recipient of The Banker magazine’s “Bank of the Year” in Kosovo 2015 award TEB ShA was also cited as “Best Bank in Kosovo” by Global Finance magazine, a publication owned by Global Finance Media Inc.
